The Thermo Scientific AQ7000 Orion 7000 AquaMate visible-light spectrophotometer has a 325 to 1100nm wavelength range, a 5.0nm spectral bandwidth, and a tungsten-halogen lamp, and is used for water and wastewater analysis. The instrument includes more than 260 preprogrammed methods stored on a USB memory stick the use of Orion AQUAfast, Merck, CHEMetrics or Hach chemistries. The memory stick allows operators to load at the instrument only the required methods, and to add or take away methods as needed. The 5.0nm bandwidth is used for routine quality keep an eye on measurements when high resolution isn’t required. The tungsten-halogen lamp and single detector beef up routine measurements in the visible range. The three-cell holder includes one adjustable holder for 13 to 25mm round vials, one holder for 20 or 50mm rectangular vials, and one holder for 10mm square vials. The instrument has three USB ports, for connection to a USB stick (included), or computer or printer (sold one by one).
