The Laxco Alpha-1106 visible-light spectrophotometer has a manually-adjustable 325 to 1100nm wavelength range, a 5nm spectral bandwidth, and a halogen lamp, and is used for routine testing and teaching laboratory applications. The spectrophotometer has a manual digital intensity keep watch over. The instrument provides direct measurement of routine absorbance and transmittance measurements, and stores up 200 test points. The 5.0nm bandwidth is used for routine quality keep watch over measurements when high resolution isn’t required. The halogen lamp and single detector improve measurements within the visible range. The instrument has a single-cuvette sample holder. The digital display indicates transmittance and absorbance measurements, and a USB port provides data output to a pc (sold one after the other).
